I was enjoying myself immensely the other day as I was putting tile, cabinet and flooring samples together with a designer on one of my husbands current projects! Given a budget, I've been nominated by Jason to make the appointments and decisions as he is far too busy this time of year! While I like to think I have good fashion sense and am up to date with current trends, designing a home to flow, match and feel comfortable is out of my league. Needless to say I am learning a lot and loving every minute of it!

Fun Choosing Interior Designs |
The appointment had me smiling and my brain was spinning after! I love being a stay at home mom, and I love being a Sonographer for Mayo Clinic, but if I could do anything what would it be? Take money or time out of the equation, I would love to be a personal shopper (do they really exit?) styling other people with current trends and wild ideas; I'd love to have gone to medical school (to those thinking you still could --- don't even say it, that much school sounds awful at 32); and I'd love to be a personal trainer! Those are just a few of the fun ideas that popped into my head. I attempted being an artist for my niece and son a few weekends ago and found that avenue is a complete dead end, see below and insert laughter and you will see for yourself why I would starve if that was my career.

In all seriousness though, what would you do if you could be or do anything?! I would love to start a benefit in my sons honor to help other families in the same situation with medical bills, or the children with therapy, bracing or whatever the family may need. I'm always talking to inspirational people, fundraising gurus, friends ... I have a list of ideas in my phone and I have dreams to someday be more than I am and to leave a legacy! Human nature makes us complacent creatures. We are told to be satisfied with our lives as they are. While I am in love with my life and current situation, why does it have to be enough? I can be happy and content, while striving to grow all at the same time!

Greater Purpose Project Is One of My Inspirations |
In a world of taking the easy way out and laziness, don't forget that successful people didn't get to the top by chance. For most, they got there through blood, sweat and tears. Don't limit yourself! Dreams come in all shapes and sizes, so pursue them with passion! I may not be the next Jillian Michaels, but today I am one step closer to achieving my goals of being more than I was yesterday. I love living life to the fullest! Join me and dream BIG!
